What deletion covers

Data removed with your account.

Permanent account deletion begins removal of the following data tied to the account:

If a provider is temporarily unavailable, the account remains blocked while the remaining cleanup is completed.

Limited retention

Some records may be kept when required.

Money in Reach may retain limited pseudonymized legal-acceptance, security, audit, and Stripe billing records when reasonably needed for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, payment disputes, legal claims, a legal hold, or another legal obligation. Restricted backups may keep deleted data temporarily before normal deletion cycles finish.

These exceptions do not keep your account active. Read the Privacy Notice for the complete retention periods and limits.

Keep the account

Delete selected data and keep your account.

  1. Open Account and sign in.
  2. Go to Privacy controls.
  3. Choose Disconnect financial institution to remove Plaid-connected data, or Delete saved Money in Reach data to remove saved planning records while keeping your sign-in and billing account.
  4. To remove Resolve data, open Resolve and delete an individual case or use its control to delete all Resolve data.

For help with another data-deletion request, use the contact form and choose Privacy or data deletion request.
