Agreement

By using Money in Reach, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Educational information only

Money in Reach provides general financial education, calculators, examples, checklists, progress tools, and planning workspaces. It is not a financial adviser, broker, lender, credit-repair organization, insurance agent, attorney, accountant, or tax preparer. It does not provide personalized financial, investment, tax, legal, mortgage, credit, insurance, or estate-planning advice.

Results depend on information you enter and may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. Verify important figures and decisions with official sources and qualified professionals.

Accounts

You are responsible for accurate registration information, protecting your credentials, activity under your account, and signing out on shared devices. Notify Money in Reach through the contact page if you suspect unauthorized use.

Money in Reach Plus

Money in Reach Plus is offered at the price and billing interval displayed in Stripe Checkout, currently intended as $4.99 per month. A subscription renews automatically until canceled. Taxes may apply. The checkout screen controls the final amount presented before purchase.

You can manage payment methods, cancellation, and available subscription changes through the Stripe Customer Portal. Unless the portal or applicable law states otherwise, cancellation stops future renewals and Plus access continues through the current paid period. Refund requests are handled according to applicable law and the purchase terms shown at checkout.

Connected accounts

Connecting an institution is optional. By using Plaid Link, you authorize Plaid and the relevant institution to provide the account data you select so Money in Reach can display balances, transactions, recurring activity, and related educational summaries. You represent that you are authorized to access the connected account.

Connected data can be delayed, incomplete, duplicated, categorized incorrectly, or unavailable. It is not an official account statement. Use your institution’s records for transfers, payment decisions, disputes, and final balances. You can revoke the connection with the dashboard’s Disconnect control.

AI Coach

The Money in Reach Coach provides educational guidance and routes users to site resources. AI output can be inaccurate or inappropriate for a particular situation. Do not submit credentials or sensitive identifiers, and do not rely on the Coach as a decision-maker.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to bypass authentication or Plus entitlements, access another user’s data, probe or disrupt the service, automate abusive traffic, upload malicious material, reverse engineer security controls, impersonate another person, or use the service unlawfully. Reasonable rate and usage limits may be enforced.

Ownership

Money in Reach and its original text, design, software, and branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may use the service for personal, noncommercial purposes. Third-party names and materials belong to their respective owners.

Availability and changes

Features may change, pause, or end. Financial-provider availability depends on third parties. Money in Reach may suspend access when reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or maintenance.

Disclaimers and responsibility

The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. You remain responsible for financial decisions, submissions, account activity, and verification of calculations and data. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.

Changes to these terms

Updated terms will be posted here with a new date. If a material change affects an active paid service, an additional notice may be provided where appropriate.
