Is Money in Reach free?
Yes. Public articles, learning paths, calculators, resources, and basic progress features are free. Money in Reach Plus adds cloud-synced planning workspaces and optional connected-account features.
How much is Money in Reach Plus?
Money in Reach Plus is intended to be $4.99 per month. Stripe Checkout shows the final price and billing interval before you subscribe.
Is this financial advice?
No. Money in Reach provides general education, estimates, and planning tools. It does not provide personalized financial, investment, tax, legal, mortgage, credit, insurance, or estate-planning advice.
Do I need to create an account?
You can use public education and calculators without an account. Sign-in is required to sync progress, save a permanent profile, use Plus workspaces, manage a subscription, or connect an institution.
Do I need to connect a bank?
No. Plaid connection is optional and manual tools remain available. If you connect, the dashboard can summarize accounts, balances, transactions, recurring activity, and cash flow.
Can I disconnect a financial institution?
Yes. Use Disconnect in the connected dashboard. Money in Reach then asks Plaid to remove the item and deletes its encrypted token and cached connected-account data.
What does Plus include?
Plus includes saved scenarios, monthly reviews, a debt command center, a home-readiness playbook, the connected dashboard, cloud synchronization, and a billing-management portal.
Can the Coach see my transactions?
The Coach uses the question, recent conversation context, selected profile fields, and aggregate dashboard values when available. Raw transaction lists are not deliberately added to Coach prompts.
Can this help me invest?
The investing section explains readiness, risk, diversification, fees, accounts, and planning concepts. It does not pick investments or tell you what to buy or sell.
How is my data protected?
Money in Reach uses Firebase authentication, owner-scoped Firestore access, encrypted Plaid tokens, signed billing and Plaid webhooks, secure transport, input limits, and provider security controls. Review the Privacy Policy for details.
How do I cancel Plus?
Open the Stripe billing portal from the Plus dashboard or a Plus page. The portal manages cancellation, payment methods, and any subscription changes that have been configured.
